Description:
Adsense and YPN Inserter is a Free and Open Source Joomla plugin which is able to automatically insert google adsense ads or yahoo publisher network (YPN) ads in to your joomla articles and contents on the fly. It doesn’t matter if you have 1 post or 100,000 articles, it will insert your ad code into all of them automatically. You can control all aspects of your ad’s display and position. Just specify ad color and position in the plugin options, your ad code is automatically generated and inserted.
Features:
- Automatically insert Google Adsense or YPN ads in to your articles.
- No manual work required, ad code is dynamically inserted into your existing and new posts.
- You could optionally specify not to show ads in a post by using tag <!--noadsense-->
- You could optionally specify where to start the ads in a post by using tag <!--adsensestart-->
- You could optionally specify where to stop the ads in a post by using tag <!--adsensestop-->
- Decrease ad blindness by giving you the option to randomly place your ad within your articles.
- You could optionally define absolute ad position instead of random position.
- You could optionally define random ad network to maximize earnings from both networks.
- Allow you to pick how many total ads to show on one page.
- Allow you to pick how many ads to show in one post.
Requirements:
Adsense and YPN Inserter has been tested on Joomla 1.5.x and 1.0.x. Please download the appropriate version above.
Installation
- Go to Extensions->Install/Uninstall
- Browse to the zip file you downloaded and click Upload file & install
- After the install is successful. Go to Extensions->Plugin Manager->Content – Adsense and YPN Inserter
- Choose your ad network and put in your account number and save the settings
- Don’t forget to enable the plugin. Your installation is complete and your ads should now showing up in your articles

Doesn’t work at all.
Also, there’s almost a hidden field where it says to DONATE A SMALL portion of your adsense to their plugin. It should be more visible.
Color of ads are not changing, Useless plugin.
I am not able to change the color of the ads, kindly place some video or any tutorial for that, over all this is a nice plugin but need to improve a Little.

For those people who are having trouble with changing the colors, you need to remove the “#” in front of your color code for it to work.

Trying to set up the adsense on a Joomla 1.5 template and I get a Parse error: syntax erroe, unexpected ‘&’, expeting T_VARIABLE or ‘$’ in the adsense.php on line 123…
which is this line

I have just updated from Joomla! 1.5.3 to 1.5.14 and you may well point out that I can disable the php errors, but that doesn’t help as the ads are not being displayed anyway. I’m not the tidiest of coders myself, but this is not an issue about ‘tidy’ code but code which works!

Hi, I am using your extension. It seems and works good. But it would create problems in the w3c HTML validation by placing the css style in the body of the content. for a valid XHTML site, the css styles declaration needs to be placed in the head of the HTML if used. Please can you correct it.
We would like to insert link units only into the article.
Would that be possible? Also you do not support those sizes either.
Would that be an easy modification to do? Or does google not support link units to be picked up with remote parameters?
